B&B Srl plant is authorized with Decree of the Lombardy Region No. 5220 of 06/22/2015 and subsequent amendments. The IPPC activity carried out is that reported in point 5.3 letter A and in point 5.3 letter B point II of Annex VIII to Legislative Decree 152/2006. Non-IPPC activities including storage and sorting of non-hazardous waste are also carried out. Only non-hazardous waste can be managed in the plant.

The authorized recovery operations are listed below:
R12 (Mixing)
Exchange of waste in order to carry out one of the operations from R1 to R11. On some particular types of waste it is possible, after carrying out appropriate compatibility tests, to create mixtures. The mixtures produced are sent to recovery plants.
R12 (Sorting /Shredding/ Screening)
Exchange of waste in order to carry out one of the operations from R1 to R11. The activity, carried out through a recently installed production line, allows us to separate different waste fractions present and shred them, in order to obtain the suitable size for final treatment plants.
R13 (storage)
recovery for the production of secondary solid fuel
The production of solid secondary fuel from waste falls within the R12 operations (sorting/shredding/screening), but is applicable only to a narrow range of waste authorized for treatment. This is because the solid secondary fuel produced, coded with CER 191210, must comply with the parameters imposed by current regulations.

D13 (Sorting / Shredding / Screening)
Preliminary grouping before one of the operations referred to in points D1 to D12 is carried out. This activity, carried out through a recently installed treatment line, allows us to separate different waste fractions and shred them, in order to obtain the suitable size for final treatment plants. The line, as conceived, allows us to exploit fractions of waste that can undergo further recovery, sending no longer recoverable part to final disposal.

B&B Srl can organize waste transport upon customer request. The transport companies, with which we have been collaborating for years, are selected according to a rigid and careful supplier qualification process and the waste route is monitored ensuring compliance with current legislation.
